Six Suspects Apprehended After €12 Million Robbery on Gold Processing Laboratory in France

A team of six suspects carrying high-powered firearms used explosive devices to breach the security of a gold treatment facility located in the city of Lyon, causing light wounds to five workers during what appears to be the latest high-profile daylight theft to hit France.

The audacious robbery occurred on the afternoon of Thursday, with officers swiftly apprehending the suspected perpetrators and recovering the stolen goods assessed at around €12M (£10.5 million), officials reported.

Five staff members of the gold refining company received light wounds from the blast, and three employees were taken to a medical facility for examination, according to regional authorities. Twenty-eight workers were at the location when the robbers attacked.
