Ex- Doctor Charged with Assault Allegations Against 38 Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities have stated that a ex- physician has been charged with performing assaults against 38 victims who were under his care.
Details of the Serious Allegations
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of numerous sexual offences – some of which involve acts against children younger than 13 – spanning the period from 2017 and 2021.
A senior prosecutor stated, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to assist a thorough and intricate police inquiry, carefully reviewing the evidence to establish that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
Scope of the Police Inquiry
These allegations follow what police described as a “detailed inquiry” into alleged assaults at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and Russells Hall hospital.
Spencer is due to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.

- 15 counts of sexual assault.
- 17 counts of assault by penetration.
- Nine counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
- 3 counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
